Once the Vaccine Passport program is approved, persons will not be subject to pre- or post-travel COVID-19 testing or quarantine, but they must observe all Rules, including mandatory face coverings. Under the Rules, persons who have completed all recommended doses of a vaccine for COVID-19 and whose last dose was administered at least 14 days before the person’s arrival in the county may provide validation, they have completed a vaccine regimen. On April 13, 2021, the Hawai’i Department of Health announced that it is pausing use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine while the CDC and FDA review data involving six cases in which individuals who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine developed blood clots. ![]()
